So many first and big milestones are tied to fond memories in our Caruso Home: it's our first home purchase that we designed from the studs to the throw pillows together; the kitchen island was our command center as we launched new business ventures as husbandand wife; we welcomed our first and second child in this home, in awe as they conquered the three levels of stairs; we danced and cried, experiencing all of life's moments in our little haven. Thank you Caruso for building us a home we will forever cherish as our epicenter for firsts and forward!

Since the moment we met Mike Holrein, we knew we were in good hands. Construction took about the full year of 2016 and then we moved in January of 2017. We just love our home. There is no other home we have ever lived in (and there were five!) that is as lovely and comforting as our Caruso home. Thank you Caruso and best wishes for 40 more years.

When we first met with Caruso we never thought we would be able to build our own home. Our salesman, Tim, reassured us and made our dream of setting new roots in Calvert County a reality. Even while building during the pandemic, our project went smoothly and to schedule. We didn’t have any major hiccups and moved in right on schedule. We’ve loved our home and community. We chose the Emory model and it’s allowed our family of six to each have their own bedroom. We desperately needed that space. One of my favorite rooms in our house is the morning room. There’s so much natural light in that room. We love to entertain here. The open floor plan makes it feel spacious and welcoming. If we ever leave this home it will be for another Caruso home.

Johnson Manor: A Tapestry of Unforgettable Memories From the moment we met our sales agent, Angela, in the spring of 2019, our lives have been immeasurably enriched by this home, which we loving refer to as, Johnson Manor. Now, in the fall of 2025, we look back on an abundance of joy and countless memories forged within these walls. This house has been the vibrant backdrop for Christmases, Mother's Days, Father's Days, Independence Days, Super Bowls, etc. We’ve also hosted numerous birthdays, anniversaries, wedding and baby showers, college graduations, the addition of four new grandchildren, an engagement party and wayyy too many game nights, and kick-backs to count! It was here, during the quiet isolation of COVID, that the two of us grew even closer. Beyond the addition of our deck and uplighting, we’ve done nothing but LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH, and make memories. Every room holds the echo of family gatherings and shared happiness. Hands down, this has been our best investment, and we pray for continued bliss within the haven we call our home.

We were extremely lucky with our selection. The entire staff was always extremely supportive, accommodating, understanding and always maintained excellent customer service skills. We enjoyed working with this company from day one. The contractors did a great job. Any concerns or problems were always handled expeditiously. The Executive Staff was always ready available in reaching out to see how things were doing and checking on you constantly. Our home is extremely lovely and comfortable. The moment we toured the home it was a done deal - from the elevated finish over the standard contractor grade we have seen to the feeling of a NEW home rather than accepting the imperfections and character of a home on the market. The Malmud Family

When we began building our house, it was just an empty piece of land with a lot of trees all over. It was hard to imagine that it would one day be our home. As the weeks passed, machines arrived, walls went up, and rooms slowly took shape. My family often walked through the site, guessing where everything would be. There were some problems along the way, delays because of the pandemic but we all stayed patient and worked through it. Watching this taught me how important teamwork is. The day we moved in, it felt as we are in a very expensive hotel, we were full of excitement. Now, when I walk through our home, I remember all the effort it took to build it and how it brought my family happiness and closer together.
