FREQUENTLY Asked Questions
- How long has Caruso Homes been in business?
- Caruso Homes proudly opened their doors in 1986, originally building custom homes in Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties.
- How long does it take to build a home?
- Caruso Homes has a 120-day build schedule once we have placed a footing in the ground. After construction begins, the process moves along swiftly. However, the hardest part can be obtaining the permits and getting the curbs, streets and utilities in place so that construction can begin.
- What is the difference between a builder and a developer?
- The developer owns the land and is responsible for the installation of the curbs, streets, water, sewer (when available), power, gas (all utilities), as well as getting the lots ready for the builder to build on. The builder (like Caruso Homes) purchases the lot from the developer and ultimately constructs the home.
- How much deposit is required to build a Caruso home?

- What will it cost me per month?
- Of course there are many factors that play into monthly payments, but a good rule of thumb is that for every $10,000 that you plan to finance you will have a monthly payment of approximately $65.00 (principal and interest only).
